We are seeking a qualified sales manager to help build a sales department that keeps our revenue engine running without relying on the CEO’s rolodex. Our ideal sales manager has in-depth knowledge of the technical consulting and software solutions industry, and deep knowledge of and experience with the sales process, excelling at lead generation, relationship building, and closing deals. We’re seeking a quick learner with solid negotiating skills, and someone with a track record of success who can inspire the same in others. An understanding of modern marketing and how it fuels the sales process is highly desirable.
The role demands someone of strong character and work ethic who is not afraid to do the grunt work as you build a sales department; however, since you will be allowed to grow the team as your successes mount, we also need a leader with a sharp mind and the ability to coach, advise, motivate, or replace sales representatives to create and maintain a high-performance sales force.
This position allows for you to do the work from home at any reasonable location within the continental US. It offers a competitive base salary plus health insurance, paid time off, 401k, technology budget, and other benefits for the right candidate. A commission / sales bonus program can be discussed and put in place by the beginning of your second year if you have proven your ability to generate revenue for Polyrific during your first year.
